The Language Laboratory is an audio or audio-visual installation used as an aid in modern language teaching. It allows a teacher to listen to and manage student audio via a hard wired analogue tape deck based system with "sound booths" in fixed locations.
English Language Lab is there in GPS to maintain a good linguistic competence through accuracy in grammar, punctuation, vocabulary and more effective learning. It is a network-based teaching.
The library in GVIS school contains more than 2000 books, covering almost all subjects. Students, teachers and even parents, all may access the Library to enhance their knowledge in every field. It is a very enriching experience to be here. Students visit the library on a regular basis.
The Readers Club has been instituted to inculcate and encourage a healthy reading habit among the students. A free access is provided to a variety of books of their caliber and interest in the School Library.
Physical education has a major role to play in the development of young students. It is an integral part of the total education of any child and is closely linked to other creative and learning experiences and skill acquisition.
It makes a significant contribution to the all-round harmonious development of the mind and body. It also helps students to develop the competencies and beliefs necessary for incorporating regular physical activities into their lives.
To make physical education more meaningful at GPS, it is offered with regularity. The importance of daily periods is recognized and achieved wherever possible. Specialized coaches have been deputed to train the students in Hockey, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Kho-Kho, Cricket, Basketball, etc.
Our school has incorporated the use of teaching and learning through the Educomp Smart Class program from July 2009. One module has cost Rs. 1,10,000 to the school.

Teachers get the relevant digital resources such as animations and videos, interactive virtual labs tools, etc., and use them as a part of their lesson plans in every classroom period.
The classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure complete with custom-designed electronic interactive whiteboards, projection systems, PCs, and UPS.
The curriculum reach unfolds from Kindergarten to grade twelve covering subjects like Mathematics, Science, English, EVS, Social Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economics, and Business Studies.
